The other night my dear in-laws suprised with a date night! We had a delicious dinner at the Flying Goat.  I ended up having dessert for the first time in 60 days, and the whole next day, I couldn't shake an overwhelming feeling of depression.

I guess I won't be eating sugar again for a while, I really must have a sensitivity to it, and with life as hectic as it is right now, I certainly don't need to add any sadness to the mix!

This morning I got the boys out the door early and headed out for story time at the library.  We were right on time, only it was the wrong day.  With Brandon taking Mondays off I am totally thrown off and always think Tuesdays are Mondays!

Luckily we were able to head to the Argonne library for the story time there. We are home now for nap, and are goimg to the splash pad after Gage wakes up. One of my greatest struggles right now is finding a way to transport all three boys.

I only have a double stroller, and Gage is having a lot of trouble behaving now that he is almost two and knows what's best for himself.  So even though its nice to have the twins all strapped in, its really hard to chase Gage when he doesn't want to listen, while pushing a giant stroller.

I don't know what on earth I'm going to do when the twins are old enough to dislike the stroller!

But we've had some really good days when I manage to get Gage out of the house.  So I'm going to keep trying. Not to mention my house stays so much cleaner!

My sweet little mischief maker is turning two on the September 2nd, and I am dreaming of buying a jungle gym for the backyard, for all those days when we can't make it to the park!

Our New Life

I have decided to start blogging again.
Because I have sooo much extra time on my hands! {Ha}
Our lives have changed so much since the birth of our twins in April.
I've decided to start fresh with a new blog, to catalog all the daily gifts that so easily slip
through our fingers in the midst of all this business.

So welcome, dear friends, to this new little space.  I hope you enjoy hearing about our full
to the brim lives!
